Get ready to be coached by Beau Bridges as he joins Theatre Aspen's "Solo Flights," a one-person show festival, in the play Coach: An Evening with John Wooden by John Wilder.
Bridges will open the festival on Wednesday, Sept. 18, with an encore performance scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21.
Producing director Jed Bernstein said he is excited to have the team of Bridges and playwright Wilder join as the fun takes off in September.
"The addition of these great artists to our inaugural festival is yet another example of how 'Solo Flights' can bring top-notch talent to Aspen," Bernstein said.
The week-long festival in Aspen, Colorado, will feature one-person shows in the beginning stages of development, including Dr. Glas by Jeffrey Hatcher and starring Daniel Gerroll, What We Leave Behind, a one-woman musical by Jenny Giering and When It's You by Courtney Baron.
With a scheduled landing for Sept. 18 to Sept. 21, Bridges is sure to amaze at Theatre Aspen's Hurst Theatre for a weekend of talkbacks, discussions and receptions.
